Getting Back In The Fight

Check out the shirt............
This past weekend I got back to work. Not real life work, but work on the range. For me, competing in 3-Gun is a passion. I started out life as a skeet and sporting clays shooter, and worked my way up through the Georgia 4-H ranks until me and my team had a few state championships to put on the mantle. Recently, shooting handguns and AR-15's has gotten me back into the competitive circle. I think there is no better way to hone your skills and stay sharp than shooting under the pressure of competition. Whether enthusiast, law enforcement, or military, shooting competitions benefit everyone and show you what you are made of under pressure. If you've been thinking about trying 3-gun, IDPA, or USPSA (just to name a couple), I'd strongly encourage you to get out there and jump in. It's addicting and incredibly fun. Not only that, it's an impetus to buy more gun gear, which is never a bad thing.

To check out how I did, click HERE to be taken to the first video. Using links at the end of the video, you can go to the 2nd and 3rd videos of all the stages. I did pretty well, but there is always room for improvement. I love videoing myself shooting, as it provides an important learning tool for improvement.

Be safe and see you next time guys.
