Magpul MAGPOD at SHOT Show 2013

The Magpul MAGPOD has been talked about since last Summer, but is being highlighted at SHOT Show 2013. It reminds me a lot of a Magpul Ranger plate but with more stability. The MAGPOD is designed to offer a stable base to support the rifle while shooting prone, without adding the bulk of a bipod to the front of the rifle. Look for these to be available in early 2013. Looks to be a nice, lightweight addition to the rifle if you are someone who doesn't like shooting with your mag base on the ground.
