Remembering Chris Kyle

The Man.
We lost Chris Kyle this past weekend. In what can only be called a tragedy, the man who is responsible for the most sniper combat kills in history was killed by one of our own at a gun range while giving instruction.

I read American Sniper, his memoire, the week it came out. It is a fascinating book and his humility is shown throughout. The real irony in his death on Saturday was that my son and I were walking around Barnes and Noble, and I wanted to look for a paperback copy of Black Hawk Down. I thumbed past American Sniper as I was looking through the military history section, and remarked to my son "Daddy has this book.".

If you want to do something to support his wife and kids, please buy American Sniper and give it a read. God bless Chris.

Be safe and see you next time.
